    When you see someone, and they see you, and you make eye contact, but it’s not awkward. Instead you smile.

    You’re walking and having a conversation with someone, and then you cross paths with the same person. They’re walking and talking with someone as well, but suddenly both people’s gazes aren’t fixed on the person they’re having a conversation with. Eye contact. And then you both smile. 

    And then that person is gone. Probably forever.
